360 Viewer

Let learners pan around a full 360 scene at their own pace.

Best for: site tours, equipment, orientation.

Give Learners a 360 View of Any Real Space

Most courses describe a space with a photo and a caption. The learner sees one angle, chosen by whoever held the camera, and never gets a sense of where anything actually sits.

360 Viewer lets learners pan around the whole scene themselves. You upload the panorama, add your labels, and export a single HTML file you embed in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Canvas, Moodle, or any LMS that accepts HTML.

Use it for facility tours, equipment introductions, and pre-arrival orientation, so learners walk in already knowing the layout instead of learning it on the first shift.

WHY IT WORKS

360 Viewer lets learners look around a full scene at their own pace.

Adding annotations and arrows to a 360 scene improved learning outcomes and drew attention to the key areas. Liu et al. (2022).

How To Use the Generators

Each tool in the eLearningDesign.org ecosystem follows a streamlined, three-step workflow designed to keep you focused on instructional strategy while we handle the technical execution.

  1. Input Your Content: Open the Content tab to add your specific learning prompts, interactive options, and coaching feedback. This is where you build the logic and instructional heart of your activity.

  2. Customize Your Design: Switch to the Design tab to align the tool with your course aesthetic. You can manually adjust colors, typography, and layout structures to ensure a seamless visual fit.

  3. Generate and Embed: Go to the Generate tab to finalize your tool. Click "Copy Embed Code" for your authoring tool's HTML block, or "Download as HTML" for local hosting and offline use.

Common Use Cases

  • Facility Tours: Show a plant, clinic, or office as a space learners can move through rather than a slideshow.

  • Equipment Introduction: Let learners circle a machine and see every side before they touch it.

  • Remote Onboarding: Give distributed hires a real sense of a location they have not visited yet.

Technical Specifications
