Investigation Board

Give learners a board of clues to connect into one conclusion.

Best for: analysis, case review, investigations.

A case study in Rise is a long paragraph followed by a multiple choice question. The learner skims the paragraph, picks the answer that sounds most responsible, and moves on having analyzed nothing.

Investigation Board hands them the evidence instead of the summary. You add the clues, set the conclusion, and export a single HTML file you embed in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Canvas, Moodle, or any LMS that accepts HTML.

Use it for incident review, fraud detection, quality investigations, and any training where the job is weighing scattered evidence and committing to a call.

WHY IT WORKS

Investigation Board gives learners scattered clues to connect into one conclusion.

Across 53 studies, working on a problem before being taught the concept led to better learning than instruction first. Sinha and Kapur (2021).
