Best for: geography, territories, site knowledge.

Spatial knowledge does not survive a multiple choice question. Naming a region from four options proves nothing about whether a learner could find it on a map.

Map Hotspot Quiz makes the map the answer sheet. You mark the correct areas, write the prompts, and export a single HTML file you embed in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Canvas, Moodle, or any LMS that accepts HTML.

Use it for sales territories, facility layouts, regional compliance, and geography, where the real question is whether someone can point to it.

WHY IT WORKS

Map Hotspot Quiz has learners recall where something is and click it on the map.

Students who practiced recalling a passage remembered more of it days later than students who restudied it, even though restudying made them feel more confident. Roediger and Karpicke (2006).
