Scrollable Timeline

Let learners scroll through events and see how one led to another.

Best for: history, project phases, sequencing.

Sequence gets taught as a bulleted list of dates. Every entry looks equally important, nothing appears to cause anything, and the learner remembers none of it.

Scrollable Timeline gives the sequence shape. You add the events and their detail, then export a single HTML file you embed in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Canvas, Moodle, or any LMS that accepts HTML.

Use it for company history, project phases, regulatory change, and any content where the point is not what happened but what each thing set in motion.

WHY IT WORKS

Scrollable Timeline reveals events as learners scroll, so cause and effect builds in sequence.

Across 56 studies, breaking instruction into segments improved retention and transfer and reduced cognitive load. Rey et al. (2019).
