Whodunit

Give learners suspects and clues and ask who is responsible.

Best for: investigation, analysis, deduction.

Nobody remembers the compliance module. People remember the case where they worked out who did it. The difference is whether the learner was asked to conclude something or just to acknowledge it.

Whodunit gives them suspects, clues, and a call to make. You set the cast and the evidence, then export a single HTML file you embed in Articulate Rise, Storyline, Captivate, Canvas, Moodle, or any LMS that accepts HTML.

Use it for fraud awareness, incident review, and quality investigations, where deduction is the actual skill and a summary paragraph never builds it.

WHY IT WORKS

Whodunit gives learners suspects and clues and asks them to name who is responsible.

Across 53 studies, working on a problem before being taught the concept led to better learning than instruction first. Sinha and Kapur (2021).
